UGLY(??) Chrysler Corp cars of the 50's and 60's

My brother says my 62 race car is as ugly as the owner. Btw….he’s my twin brother

WOW! That's almost too weird to be ugly. It's like the Xenomorph from Alien decided to breed with a car. On the list of favorite 50's, that '57 Saratoga (and a lot of other Chrysler's from '57) really does it for me, but a '58 Windsor...

Yep, Dad's was a four door. THANKS !

We had a '59 Imperial. Sold it to a gentleman in Texas who had bought one new. This link takes you to what he did with it:

Agree on the Alien ascendancy. A work of art IMHO . . .

I see nothing about that car as being ugly.
At the time it was designed and built, heavy
completion between manufacturers left them
with guesses as to what the general
populace was looking for in every day
transportation. The big three all built
cars that most would deem as "ugly" in
todays' time from '60-'63 model years.
Chrysler just carried things a little further
to the extremes. What most failed to
notice were the powerplants that enabled
these rocketships to fly. Chrysler topped
them all.

A guy I went to school with had a 60s Plymouth. Not sure what year. It was ugly?? To most of us at the time anyway. We called it birth control cause no girls was getting in that thing. Lol.

There was lots of "ugly" sheetmetal in '62.
I don't believe Chrysler was one of the worst
offenders. Teenagers back then were happy
to drive dad's car. It was mobile, it had an
engine, and a nice roomy back seat. It
wasn't 'American Grafiti' for all back then.
I have fond memories of driving dad's '62
(push button shift) Plymouth wagon on
Saturday night to the local burger joint.
Girlfriend right next to me.
