US car tool inner fender brace interferes with splash guard on 69 GTX.

Anyone else have this issue, and how did you remedy it? Thinking I should make a slit for it on splash guard. Anyone run into this?

I had to notch one rear splash shield on my 65 Belvedere a little to clear mine.

I trimmed the brace to accommodate.

I figured the brace did more than the splash shield, so cut the shield to fit.
