Has anyone had issues with the current USCT frame connectors for a 69 b body. The connectors look to me to be 1/4” short if you line them up with the floor contour. This car has new floors in it (AMD) but they are tigh to the firewall the everything else lines up. The ones I’m calling into question are the ones with the break out tabs

USCartool. Good experience here. Be sure to properly prepare and weld. Watch the asbestos when removing undercoating if any. Keep us posted when you get to the other side.

I fixed them today. I had to add 1/2” to the length of the frame connectors several times. These are NOT the old ones that are marked with “L” and “R”, they have been retooled. They line up perfect with the rear frame rail flange and floor but fall short of the crossmember by 1/2. I have contacted USCT and have not heard back

Update…. I spoke to John at USCT. The tabs that I cut off were not meant to be cut off. They were meant to be “wings” to bend out until they touch the crossmember. They were having problems with fitment and this was their solution on the new tooling. The parts came with no instruction and other tabs that were break out. Half *** solution if you ask me!
