I have to do some work on the exhaust on my 71 Charger. I have to modify the exhaust pipe where it comes out of the left side header so doesn't hit the torsion bar crossmember when the engine is running.

While I'm at it I'm thinking of replacing the standard 3 bolt flange & gasket connector on the end of the header collectors, with a V-band flange and clamp set-up similar to what is used on turbocharged systems.

Anybody had any experience with this?

I have used them and like the fact it is easy to disconnect and reconnect when working on.
