Have been trying to find what the v21 option looks like on a 71 roadrunner so any pic would be helpful as it's hard to find one on a google image search.

V21 is the black after the Air Grabber that I showed you FACT!!!
V24 V25 are the stripes that run vertical on an Air Grabber hood and trunk of an Air Grabber equipped car.

Air Grabber itself is option N96.

V21 is only a 1971 option although I'm showing it to you on my old 72 and the V24 V25 is a 1972 option

He is not arguing with you RJS. Of course your info is correct and he can apply it now. Ease up man.

v21 on an airgrabber (n96) car in 1971 is the black behind the bubble as shown above.

You can have an airgrabber with or without v21 striping.

v21 on a NON airgrabber performance hood in 1971 refers the indent striping shown below.

Again, you can a performance hood with or without the v21 option.

I didn't think he was, sounded like he was a little unsure so wanted to reiterate.

Ah ok makes more sense now, just hard to find actual proper info and photos for it.
Is the bonnet bulge also part of the option or is that unique to the airgrabber? Plus what kinda of paint and colour would need to be used to get the correct stripe?

My apologies RJS for the old assumption fail. In my experience most readers perceive all caps like 'FACT' and multiple exclamation points as yelling in typed communication. Thanks for the clarification

The bulge and door are the "AIRGRABBER" assembly in 71-2

The correct paint is called ORGANISOL,a little hard to find here in the States. Wonder if it would be used down under.

Ok I think I understand now. Sorry for all the questions as I appear to know nothing but being only 20 and never seen another rr before with the option or anything and being new to the car scene means I have a lot to learn but thanks for the info :)

Questions are good no need to be sorry, your more than welcome.
Also on a side note I sold my 71 GS Stage 1 to a great guy in Australia last May.
If he is any indication of Aussie's then your a good bunch!!!!
