Hi All,

im installing a power booster for my brakes, and I’m supposed to plug for the manifold vacuum. I only have one large manifold vacuum plug (3/8 hose) and it’s on the dp Holley carb, and there are none on the intake manifold.

should I plug the brakes in this large plug on the back of my carb?

my other issue then becomes, where do I plug my engine vacuum? There are two small ports (1/4 hose) on the carb both for manifold vacuum. Is it ok if engine vacuum goes there?

thank you in advance!

What kind of intake? You can drill and tap a new port. you can use the carb port too...you can T off that hose for what ever else you want. Depends how you like it to look.

Excellent suggestions thank you!! So both brake and engine vacuum can just be in a T port on the 3/8 hose and plug in the back of the carb? This wouldn’t create any issues with obstruction?

there's no obstruction, its all the same source. what else do you need vacuum for? Brakes and?

For manifold vacuum of the engine

I would assume your talking about the vacuum advance for dist ?

You should have ported vacuum and full vacuum on the Holley Carb with the small nipples your talking about

Thanks for your reply! No I mean the hose from the pcv valve. That can be hooked together with the brake in a T port and just hook to the one manifold port I got?
