the reason for so many Australians love for vegemite , this used to play several time a day during before and after school

Now that brings back memories.

Go easy spreading it until you get accustomed to the taste. Too much will put you off immediately.

Saw example on toast, use sparingly. No glob on a spoon.

Was looking at Vegamite thinking, am I poly's and kiwi's Huckleberry for trying it? Well followed instructions, put it on sparingly. It tastes like.....................Stout made into a paste. Will try a little more on toast tomorrow. Need to sneak up on it.

Like tea but not a drinker. My mother was a tea drinker 5/6 cups a day or more in winter.

Vegamite day 2. Added more. all good but the taste stays in your mouth for hours. It is going to be a change of pace spread.
