Vehicle History

Greetings. Is there a way to research the history of my car from its VIN? I have a 1968 GTX that I purchased last summer already restored. I know very little of its history beyond what I received from the seller and would like to know more. Thanks in advance for your help.

If by chance some previous owner entered into the database, big if too, check www.lynchroad.com
Sometime people put vins in there even if not built in lynch. Long shot..

Also there are vin decoders that will tell you what you have or should have along with the fender tag info. It won't tell you history though.
