Vent Window

Howdy all!!! I want to replace the weatherstripping on the vent window of my 68 GTX and it's been a bitch anybody kno how to do it? :black_eye:

The easiest way to do it is to take it out of the car. The whole wing window assembly and track. I dont know for sure if there are tiny screw's holding it in, there could be. Look in the track for screws. Post a picture if you can. Then I could tell you.

Does anyone carry the plastic strip that goes on the side window and runs in the vent window channel when you roll the side glass up and down

Dixie restorations has that and you can also order it from Mopar I just can't remember the part number.

I picked some up from Classic Industries a few months back. Wasn't cheap (for what it was) but they had it.

yeah it's usually cheaper if you get the Mopar part number and buy it from one of those factory discount parts retailers online.
