I'm in the market for a new radiator. I was recommended Champion, which I may go with. But also found one from a company called Victory Radiator. They're cheaper by a little, looks like similar quality.
Anybody ever heard of these guys, or used em?

I've heard of em. You're better off sticking with a brand you can buy through Jeg's or Summit.

What do you drive? What's your budget? Only asking because people in this forum have done the trial and error method. We can help you find a better solution.

Thanks, I have a 72 Roadrunner. It's got a 400cu transplant from 72 fury. I'm making a general daily driver out of it, not hi performance at all. I was looking at the champion/eagle because I like the $200 range. Plus the 1inch cools well I've heard.

I just modified a Champion radiator tank.... I can first hand tell you that the material used was NOT some thin junk....
Additionally, I read that the cores used by Champion are actually made in USA..... Perhaps some of the final assy is done over seas???
Anyhow, I just wanted to clear the air about the "at least tank" quality of the Champion radiator that I have dealt with... It had nothing wrong!!!!!
Spend your money as you wish,,,,

I would second the quality of US
Radiator. Whatever radiator you do order, make sure you measure very carefully the distance between the leading edge of your engine fan or fan clutch to the radiator support. You can quickly run out of room if you order too thick of a radiator. Also make sure you buy the fan shroud when you purchase the radiator because it will be infinitely easier to mount while the radiator is out of your car. I'm sure you know all this but it's always nice to get a reminder.

Thanks everyone, I went with Champion/ Eagle. I realize that it's assembled in China. The price break is what got me, plus they were good on the phone. However I ordered while the car was in the shop and didn't get the right measurements so I had to pay for shipping back. Which kinda sucks but, but I guess that was my fault. Guess I'm used to Amazon and newegg shipping. The radiator looked really nice and well built but I guess I won't know until it's in there and running full speed. I'll update when it's in.

So the radiator works well. Cools the engine and keeps its cool!

If anyone is considering this radiator it works well on an average 400 motor. I don't have a lot high performance parts so I can't speak for cooling something more high end. However the tubular chrome overflow doesn't fit. It's designed to fit on the side of the radiator and requires some modifying. It's also pretty small.

I have a new us radiator on the way after 3 year my champion sprung a leak at the lower tank. Anyone want it? Too bad it didn't last. China and all.
