Vintage cast finned BB Mopar valve cover question

That look's like the ad I seen a while back and the seller didn't know ho made them .

Interesting story. If Edelbrock did indeed make these in the 60s, EARLY CHRYSLER would have meant 4 bolt covers, as has been said. 6 bolt covers would have been 'current' and ever since... In any case, with no documentation, it's just a story and in my mind they're not worth anywhere near what they were asking. I do see that they were sold though. Like they say, there's an a** for every seat...
The documentation is what I'd like to see myself . When I get the chance I'm going to contact the seller and ask him how he found out the supposed history of these valve covers . I thought about even contacting Edelbrock themselves and see if they have any info on what they did and didn't make back them . If I do then "hopefully" I get someone with a clue and not just some geek on the other end of the phone . Like I said before , I'd like to just find out what they are after all these years of having them and not having the right vehicle to put them on . They just wouldn't look right on my Warlock . I had always planned on doing a gasser ( Mopar of course ) or maybe a mid 60's hot rod ( Again Mopar of course lol ) . Now on something like either one of those , they'd look right at home .

Has anyone ever seen a car with these on it (from the factory)?
A old time Mopar drag racer friend of mine said he kind of remembers something like these back around 65 to 67 but couldn't remember for sure and was supposed to try and find some ole pictures for me to take a look at and he didn't know who would have made them .

I figured you guy's might like to know what I just found out . From what it look's like , the one other set I found a while back . The seller found out the history of them . From what he say's , These were made by Edelbrock for Chrysler to install on some of there special option cars back in the 1960's . From what he say's , these were factory installed on these special optioned cars . Here's the link to the set he had if anyone is interested . http://www.ebay.com/itm/1960s-FACTO...S-CHRYSLER-DODGE-EDELBROCK-RARE-/400877615969
Just so were all clear . I'm not saying that what this seller is saying is fact . Anyone that knows me or has dealt with me in the past , knows that whatever I say is backed up . So until I find out for sure who made these , it's still unknown and I'd like to still find out for sure . I posted his ad just because I thought you guy's would be interested in what I found so far . I've been around Mopars all my life and all I know so far on these , is that there as rare as heck .

I gotta say I haven't. I used to REMOVE the plain factory covers to put the M/T, Cal custom, Weiand, etc. aftermarket parts on.
