Just curious- I'm building a '72 Coronet sedan, and the measurements for the spring perches are the same between wagons and sedans. However, the overall width of the wagon rear is a couple of inches wider.
I want to run the same size wheel and tire on all four corners, but I'm considering a wagon rear for the increased rear track to avoid that "tucked in" look the sedans have at the back without having to have bigger wheels and tires.
Has anyone tried this, on a 3rd gen Charger or anything?
Can you foresee any issues I may run into going to a wagon rear axle?
Edit: I'm not only doing this for the increased rear track's looks- I've got a leaky 8 1/4 back there now and want to upgrade to an 8 3/4 anyway. I figured a wagon rear may be cheaper since most guys would want to narrow them.
