...a '73 Dart that is :)

I've got some immediate plans for the car, namely cosmetic, as the engine has been completely rebuilt, along with the tranny and rear end.

Numbers matching 318...original interior. No sense installing a cam/etc now with the engine in good shape, so I will be adding a bunch of bling to the engine bay for starters. Also, I'd like to change out the tires/wheels, possibly lower the front end, and maybe even lift or LOWer the rear.

Add a tail stripe, put an aftermarket steering wheel in, and just dress it out a bit.

I've got a bunch of questions...maybe this isn't the thread, but let me at least toss these out at whomever...

1. What's the widest tire I can put on the rears on the 7" wheels I'm told it will take? I'd like it to fill out the rear end, but obviously clear the fender wells.
2. Any other sources for wheels other than the Ansen model, the Vintiques or the old school Centerlines? Choices seem to be limited.
3. I'm thinking about keeping 14s in the front, but doing 15s in the rear to give it a raked look...any thoughts? What about 16s in the rear...will there even be a Vintique, Ansen or Centerline that has the right bolt pattern if I go that way?
4. What's the best way to lower the front by 2"? The best way to lift or lower the rear?

All for now...it's 4:30 in the mornin', and I just got off work...tired, and need to capture a few hrs of sleep before church, cause I'll be back out again tonight :)

Oh...

I sent an email to the only "club" that seems to be close to me...got NO reply (?!?!?!?!). I think the club is really non existant in my area. My schedule won't permit too much interaction, but was trying to reach out to s/one in the area (Lexington/Columbia and surrounding...the CSRA as we call it).

Thx in advance...I'm looking forward to learning more about 'em! :)

*just tried to add a pic, and it won't allow me to pull a pic from any I've got saved on my computer? It seems they have to be on a webpage? Not sure how to do so, sorry.

A-Body type Cars

The A-Body is the car platform that you now own, Dart, Demon & Duster...The B-Body is the Roadrunner, GTX etc..The E-Body is the Barracuda, Cuda & Challenger..:eusa_think:.Click on the A-Body in the top of
B-Body Home page and you can join A-Body just as easy as B-Body was...Not that B-Body won't be helpful but, A-Body will be all about Cars like your Dart....Read the "Welcome to" in the home page for the A & B Body it will give you a quick over view of what I am telling you...Enjoy your Dart...Rick 70RR:grin:
