Hello,

I am looking for the wiring harness for my 1969 Charger. I would like it as complete as possible, but I will take what I can get if the money is right. I am planning on doing a Tic Tac Toc so the rallye harness would be preferred (if there is even a difference). Please get a hold of me if you have anything to sell or donate, or if you know a better place for me to look. Thanks!

-Mike R

Many here wait for a sale at Year One, then buy the M+H Harness that is sold exclusively by them. I did.

I have a couple. image1.jpgimage2.jpgimage3.jpg

moparinator, what were you looking to get out of one? And what kind of shape are they in? Very interested

I took a look at the harnesses on Year One, about $480 before shipping. That's not too bad but I'm going to need the under-hood harness as well.

Get them both, YearOne has a 30% off Mother's Day sale until May 10th.

Code - MOM15

Shipping is not too bad on the best plug and play wiring (M&H) too.

Car Nut, you always pull through! I checked the site and both harnesses are "on sale" right now, and plus the 30% discount both harnesses come out to around $425. It would be nice to have brand new wiring, but I prob won't have the cash before the discount has expired. I'm trying to work some magic lol. I'm also trying to work something out with Moparinator if possible. Again thanks for your input! I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

Pretty sure Car Nut works for Year One and gets commission, and if he doesn't, he should. I just sacked-up and placed an order for the engine and dash harnesses. With that 30% off coupon, I could not resist. After shipping and the discount, it came out to about $430. In my eyes, thats not too much for peace of mind. And my poor car has needed this from the day she came home. Thanks again Car Nut for the advice and coupon suggestion :icon_pray: , and thanks everyone else for your mentoring. Now I can finally plop in my gauge cluster and get the god-awful make-shift gauges out of their.

Side note, If anyone wants to trade a '69 dash bezel for my '68, I'd be happy to :headbang:

I should own stock at least  The best thing I did for my 69 Charger was replacing the wiring with M&H. :headbang:

I'd say you made a wise decision. Brand new M&H wiring is a heck of a lot nicer and safer than 45 year old stuff.

Haha wouldn't be a bad idea! That's good to hear Car Nut, thanks for your advice, you are THE DUDE!

Thanks Hunt2elk. Its very reassuring to hear that from you. I recently read the entire thread you posted about your quad black '69 resto. The work you do is has no equal in my eyes. You're truly a master of the craft. :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Thanks guys for the support. $430 may not be a lot of cash for some people, but in the position I'm in right now (just moved), it was quite a leap. It feels good to hear from you all that it was a good decision. My car isn't missing a whole lot of parts, but it was missing its harnesses and it puts my mind a little more at peace to have picked them up FINALLY.

Excitement! The wires look fan-friggin-tastic!

Thanks again for the advice Car Nut and all you dudes

you made the right call there, lot of people use old wiring when restoring these cars, you have to think that some where down the road you will have electrical problems with old harnessess and old gauges, i know its expensive to replace harnessess, but having electrical issues and you do not know where to start and mind blowing things going own with cars electrical can make that money you spent more than worth it, at least it is for me.
