Looking for the molding that goes around the top edge of the convertible well area. from the drivers door, above the rear interior panels, around the back to the the passenger door. Some of the pieces I have can be restored, others not so good. The 4 small chrome pieces, and the pieces that go above the rear interior panels are really bad. I realized that I posted this same request under "performance parts". sorry about that.

ok, not having much luck locating the trim for my 1970 Dodge Coronet convertible. Went to Carlisle over the weekend, 1 vendor had the 2 pieces that I really need,( the piece of stainless that goes on the body, next to the quarter window, above the rear interior panels. only problem was I needed to remortgage my house to buy them. That is not an option. Another vendor suggested taking the hard top plymouth trim(by the quarter window) and cutting it down. Has anyone else done this, I purchased the trim, $20, matched it, looks like it may work, has anyone else done this, any ideas ?

there is a guy here in NJ that has a boot and molding listed he is asking 500.00
I have his number if you are interetsed

Thanks for looking out, I went to see that molding set-up, the molding is off a plymouth, the pot meal pieces on the plymouths are an inch shorter, and he only has 1 side of the molding that I am looking for. so my search continues

that would be great ! In the mean time I am going to try the hard top trim pieces, cut them down and see how they look

That was me who told you this at Carlisle, let me know how you make out....

After we spoke I went to the show field, looked at the trim on the cars, seems like it may work, I will keep you posted

belt moulding top small pieces

i need the smaller pot metal pieces if anyone has them...

I have some of those pot metal pieces, but they are off a 67 coronet. I don't think they are the same. I was in the same predicament a couple years ago. I ended up buying a whole car just for those pieces.

pot luck

do you have the original pot metal pieces ?
