Hi everyone. I am looking for the correct trans for my GTX. I have a date coded engine but am now looking for a trans. Tricky because car was built on June 10, 1968. I have read that after May 15th, they switched to 69 transmission but I guess as long as the date code falls into the right range it would be correct. Think it should be 2892093 and date code somewhere between 2483 and 2509. Guess It could be a 2801541 with dates close. Any info on locating one would be great or even some more info about the correct numbers. Thanks
