This is a great thread for all of us to read. Let's face it, the majority of guys on here are north of 50 years old. A close friend of mine (since grade school) is dealing with prostate cancer, he's 59.
Treatment and in some cases cures are available nowadays. Take care everyone - more time to wrench on our cars!

So very true. I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, this March will be 2 years cancer free. The radiation was hell but I’m here to tell my story. All men should have their PSA level checked yearly. That’s how I caught mine in the early stages. Life is good.
 
The coronary artery calcium scan, then they can do stress test on your heart on a treadmill, monitoring everything, then they can go into the angiogram if needed.
I'm reading that the coronary calcium CT scan is not automatically offered if you're not showing symptoms. Kind of wish at a certain age the test was offered as standard preventive care. Did you need to request your doc to put the order in?
