I have not taken any window trim yet but looking for some suggestions. When it rains, sometimes the passenger A pillar will have water running down the inside of it. The water exits under the dash and drips on the mat. If I cover the corner of the passenger side windshield at the junction of the windshield line and A pillar there is no leaking. I thought that the leak was starting where the drip rail transitions to the A pillar. Checked the gaskets, seemed OK but added some RTV into the space, still leaks. I took the interior A pillar trim to get a better look and confirmed that the water was inside the A pillar. Next step is to remove the passenger side windshield trim to look for problems. There is no water collecting on the inside lower corner of the windshield. What is driving me crazy is that it does not happen all of the time when it rains. Have also to replace the wiper post gaskets, another unexpected leak.

You'll have to take the upper & side outside windshield molding off & goop up the gasket to the body with some butyl.

Well, I finally got the windshield sides and top trim off. I had to remove all of the sealant in order to get the trim off. It looked like the installer did not want the trim to fall off. It looks like one or more of the trim clips are leaking. When I tested the windshield for leaks, I found that water was also coming in under the inside top trim, which I removed in addition to some water coming from the A pillar. I tried to remove the trim clips but the glass is in the way and I do not yet know which trim clip is leaking. Working as a one man unit, I could not apply water and try to source the leak(s). Anyone tried Flex Seal as a fix? I had to put a halt to the investigation. There was a storm front (rain) moving in so I had to stop and "seal" the windshield with a plastic film to keep the water out.
Most of the black sealant that was on the windshield gasket along the top and body(pinch weld) has been remove where possible. I do not have the time or money have the windshield reinstalled since it does not look like it is leaking. Maybe in the light of a new day I can find the root problem. Looking for some suggestions to plug the "holes".
Thanks.

Follow up. I cleaned, as best I could, all around the top of the windshield. Applied the Flex seal, let it "dry" and tested for leaks. Did this a few times. Removed the interior windshield top trim as I found some leaking under it. The leak was running to the A pillar. Root problem appears to be one or more of the trim clip screws is allowing the water in. Spent some additional time adding more sealant around the trim clips. This has stopped those leaks for now.
But, I did discover additional leaks under the dash along some "pinch welds". I think I need to spend more time sealing along the bottom of the A pillar on the exterior. Have added some photos of the leaking area. Maybe someone has been down this road before and can "confirm" the possible source of the leak. Not the best pictures I have taken. Will see if I can improve on them Here are the fist versions.
