I had to look this one up. I had forgotten about it.

1977 Olds 442 with the aero nose. Only 1976-77.

I remember back in the day, when almost everything was slow, that I thought I wouldn't mind either the Fox body LTD LX, or the Mercury Marquis LTS, which had far stiffer suspension than the base models, and the high output 5.0 Mustang engine.

AM Pacer.....but....that car had some neat things from the factory. Do your research on it. Not a fan of them but they still had some crazy crap....

Any Checker Cab, but I would paint it black.

Triumph TR8 coupe

Weird the Brits would offer an 8 cylinder.
Weird that a car manufacturer would have the right "recipe" and then totally bungle detail design execution, marketing, and sales.

I wonder what modern, performance drivetrain could be used in one.

1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk. I really like the styling, and interior. I had one, to restore, about 50 years ago (where has the time gone?). The deeper I got into it, the rottener it was. I eventually had to cut it loose. With today's technology, I likely could have made a nice car of it. One of my automotive regrets.

Weird? Okay.
One of my favorites is the 1958 Packard version of the Golden hawk. The Packabaker Hawk. Mr. Fishface.
And any little foreign car with a V8 swapped in.
I would Love to have a SCrambler. I settle for an ordinary Rambler American as a swap candidate.
I desperately tried to buy an Edsel once. A sedan delivery version. Ever seen one?

Well, they were one of the first cars to come without rain gutters. Way ahead of their time. :)
