Weird non Mopars you like?

Man, that's crazy. I've always been an Art Deco fan. I wonder how much $$$$ that is. It looks like what an Academy Award winner would arrive in, in 1939.

You have expensive tastes,
I don't know what that 1 of 2 Delahaye is worth, but a similar but probably less valuable Talbot-Lago coupe, with F&F bodywork sold for thirteen million dollars and some change.
The Delahaye was specifically built to represent France at the New York World's Fair, in 1939.

That black grabber looks great.

I wouldn't mind a 4 door maverick, to just put on a grabber hood, and paint like this-

interesting choice! Had a couple of TRs back in the day. The Rover (Buick) all aluminum V8 was a great motor. It was in production for 4 decades and eventually grew to a 5.0 making over 300hp in cars such as TVRs. IMO no need to look for a different drivetrain.

I went back and did some additional reading after seeing your comments. Earlier, I was misinformed about the engine. Thank you.

Or a 72 Hurst Indy support wagon. But the written graphics are a little too much for me.

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage from the early 1990's. Twin Supercharged V8, heavy land yacht for the era/class of car, 180mph+ and 0-60 under 5 seconds. Real driving tests had it comparing to Porsche and Lambo of the era as far as performance, including handling. This car sacrifices nothing. Connolly leather, burl walnut trim, most powerful engine in a production car(at debut), this thing was the height of automotive engineering when it was released. Different cars could do individual things better than the V8 Vantage, but not by a lot, and all with great sacrifice to something else. You can find video of it lined up to drag race exotics lol. While it is a sleek car, it looks odd sitting next to porsche and Lotus cars, Dodge Vipers....
There is some rumor that a few VIP special ordered a car with an auto trans. AM opted to use a 727 torquflite. Does that mean it is a Mopar? LOL Kidding aside, I wonder how that affected 0-60.....

Of course, last model that got developed before Ford got involved.
This is on my "lottery list". Probably the first thing I would buy as a selfish spend and it would become the daily.

They are cool little cars. A friend bought a new one as a senior in High School (Black of course) the first year the 302's came out. He had Cragar SS's on it the next day.
The only way to improve Black/Cragars, is to find somebody else to clean it (and KEEP it clean). Good luck finding same.

When I first sat in a Maverick, I couldn't believe how small it was! The one that had the underdash tray, no glovebox. I remember it being advertised as looking like a muscle car without the dangerous power of a muscle car. I guess the 302 changed that.
