Well, I got the Rona!

Been coughing for the last 10 days. Last night I slept for 3 hours so I thought I was getting better. But today it took me down hard. Headaches, body aches, chills, fever and non stop coughing. Haven’t been out of bed all day, tomorrow’s not looking so good either.
If I could just have 5 minutes alone with Fauci I’m sure I’d feel better.
And yesterday the wife said she lost her sense of taste, (she’s not happy about that).

The wife and I had it Thanksgiving 2019 before covid was cool. The doc said the flu shots were not working well for some reason and he was not sure at the time why. Needless to say it was the worst ( flu ) we have had in a decade and we made it through it and have not been sick since. ( knock on wood )
P.S. Vodka and OJ helped us through !

Still breathing ok between coughs. Probably get checked out by a doc tomorrow.

Its the vitamin "C" boost, I am serious you should try it if you like it and it helps you sleep to sweat out the fever.

Welcome to the club ! I came down with is Jan 6 2020, before it was fashionable ! High fever for 4 days, basically out cold. Heavy duty fatigue for 4-5 months.

We had it then also. Wife was sick for 2 months and I barely had a sore throat for 2 days.

Maybe this is the Delta?
4-5 months does not sound good.

Both of my adult children live in different states. Daughter got it Dec 22, 2020 and didn't get to come home for christmas. She had to stay in her empty apartment in Alexandria, VA since she was moving to Wisconsin. Son just recently had a good dose in late September. Luckily he was better for the USPSA Nationals in Talladega by Oct 21. Would have sucked for me to be there but him sick in Albuquerque. He was in the middle of a move also.

We’re supposed to catch a plane to Florida Wednesday for the Holidays. Think I’ll be canceling that.
We’re going to the Sporting Clays World Open in April.
Maybe its wrong of me to say, but I’d rather miss the holidays than that.
