If you like nostalgia racing there's a great annual event just outside of Buffalo, NY, at the old Lancaster Speedway. Now called Dunn Tire Raceway Park it has a half mile oval and an 1/8 drag strip. In the oval infield they have a huge car show and they race all weekend on the drag strip. This event has the largest gathering of Willys gassers in the world, getting over 100 Willys race cars participating. The comp semifinals paired Mopar against Chevy. Both Mopars won setting up an all Mopar final. In the supercharged gasser class final both cars were Hemi powered. A few of the Mopar racers and a max wedge car in the show area are attached. It was a great weekend.
