What are folks using to replace/simulate seatbelt strap alignment clips?

I purchased a new set of PG Classic reproduction seat belts and they didn't come with the sewn in plastic clips that keep the strap excesses from flapping around. Is there a good substitute other than say a bobbie pin?

look up seat belt adjuster clips on the NET. several types available

I tried that. All I found were modern clips that are very wide and serve a hard clamping purpose. I'm looking for somthing that looks closer to a factory like the picture I posted.
