Hi everybody:

I like this blue but when the car was for sale nothing was said about the colour, anyone know what it is? Actually just found the video a couple days later

If original it’s E1 midnight blue. Might be a tad different but E1 has quite the flop to it in the sun. Goes from very dark to blueish green in 68.

That's what my 68 Coronet is and it's going to go through a full restoration, I got really lucky with a guy. The car looks gross but it's in very good shape where it counts ..floor frame rails et. I have a really good 68 383 for it too. Sat on a farm since 1978. Always wanted one and it just popped up when a guy answered an email "Oh by the way I'm doing a 68 Coronet" I never ran to the phone so fast in my life lol. Right now I'm just buying all the parts needed and I'm guessing it will be done in 3 - 4 years maybe more. I even like this Viper Yellow one. The scallops really show up with lighter paint

Looking at that again there seems to be quite a bit of difference from the original E1 shade. Not assuming it was an original E1 car, but from that color which was the closest color to that shade in 68, that color is alot brighter than the E1 it seems.

Not a factory '68 color, it's something else. Does look a lot like the pickup's color.

I have a 68 Coronet that is called QQ1 blue
You can still see some of the original blue between the trunk lid and back window and also on to of parcel shelf behind back seat area

Shoot me but I think it looks best Viper Yellow. Especially with that Super Bee stripe

1968 Charger is EE1
And a lot of effort went into the mixing process to get this right compared to the original paint still on the car

In the sun it really pops when compared to in the shade
