Waaaay over here!
I've been around the forum for a fairly long time but only recently decided to become more active on the board. Starting last fall, I decided to do a paint job and some body work on my Coronet. While in the middle of the project, I was thinking.. wtf did I get myself into. I'm just a computer guy with a dad that has a shop with all the tools. :poke:

As I was working on stuff, I thought I can't be the only guy that doesn't do this stuff by day. So I thought, I wonder what everyone else does?!

So, I work for a larger Life Insurance/Retirement Plan company in downtown St. Paul Mn. I've been here for nearly 11 years working in our Information Security department with focus on our Identity and Access management program (basically, responsible for new people coming in, people leaving the company, and getting access to what you need to see)

What do you do?

Retired[16 years]. Wore MANY hats before being busier than ever, working on these stupid cars.

Industrial maintenance supervisor-assistant manager at a sawmill. Since a child I've always enjoyed building anything so it just fit.

Im a retired Business owner. Started in the Auto Parts Business at age 17 for 1.75 an hr as a delivery boy. Moved up to counterman and then manager. The two owners of 5 stores split in 81 and one owner offered me a part of the store I was managing. After I learned everything he taught me, I bought him out in 90. ( he took back the note) . I went on to open two more independent stores. Had 40 employees, 12 delivery trucks, a lot of inventory ( owned, not consigned ). Sold out to Carquest in Jan 01, at age 44. Kept all the commercial real estate. Still lease it all to them 16 years later. No silver spoon here..Did it all on my own.. Donald Trump should seek me out as a spokesman for the small independent businessman.

I am an Incident Commander for a Security Software company. I know the real reason Richard Cranium did not make it as a circumciser......he wasn't willing to put any skin in the game!

Currently sabbatical, I'm one of Nobama's mistreated military members that's been thrown out with yesterdays trash and forgotten about. Totally left to defend for myself with no help.
