1965 426 engine. Not a wedge engine? I can see it's an HP, what horsepower is it? Complete engine minus carburetor. Assuming it will roll over and is rebuildable. Any info appreciated.

"What is it worth?", off of that info? Okay. Five bucks. It could be a bare block with a cylinder blown out, and main caps missing. What I see is worth five bucks scrap weight.
How about a pic of the whole engine, casting # casting date, etc.

From the information on the pad shown, and as mostly already described, the engine is as follows:

A=1965
426 = 426 wedge ( H 426 denotes the Hemi)
HP = High Performance, aka Street Wedge
4 1 = April 1st 1965 build date
2 = Second shift on that build date

April 1 assembly date...that's funny...when I read the OPs post and one pic, I thought it was a April fools joke...just a trifle early

Excuse me. I added the only other picture I have.

Well you gotta admit 33 IMP had a point... Your post was vague, we don't know if you have a crusty block with damage from kicking a rod out or if you have a complete running long block....
