Hi all, this clip fell out of my dash when I was stripping it down. Anyone know what it is and where it goes? Is it even part of the dash?

I can get you one later today. It goes on the square tubes that slip onto the woodgrain dash vents.

On my orginal Dart, there were 2? on each defroster hose holding the hose to the defroster duct in the top of the dash.
If you don't have the orginal, I will call them paper hoses, you probably won't need them. The replacement hoses are rubber and should stay attached , don't think that you could use the clips on them. Mine stay attached without help.

If it helps, ‘69 though……upper dash defroster vents. Also at opposite hose end connection of the heater box.

Awesome, THANK YOU!! And a big thank you to everyone who responded, much appreciated!!!!

Here is a couple pics where the AC duct meets the dash bezel, only on the bottom. The clips go bottom center where the tab is. Your car is AC right?
