There were 3 friends, a Greek guy, a German guy and an Italian guy going on a boat trip. While on the boat and across the channel, suddenly the devil appeared in front of them and said: I'll give you the chance to save yourself from this hell. You'll throw an item overboard and I'll try to find it. If I do I'll take your soul.
So the German started first, cut a button from his pants and threw it in the sea. Devil dropped into the sea and immediately reappeared with the button in hand so he took his soul, the italian went second and thinking smarter, he pulled a tiny hair and threw it. Devil again dropped into the sea and after about 10 minutes reappeared with the hair in hand so took the italian's soul.
The Greek guy smiled and took something out of his bag threw it overboard. Devil again went into the sea and started searching and searching and searching....after about half an hour frustrated that he lost to a human he reappeared to the boat and spared the Greek guy's life in return for telling him what he threw out of the window. The greek guy said to him:an aspirin
