what is brand name of factory mufflers that they used in the sixty s are they still making them? thanks

Maybe "turbo thrust" for some reason that sound familiar "Not known as fact though" just throwing it out there... I have no idea if they are still in business the factories use many different suppliers I'm sure... I do remember people calling them also "Hemi Turbo" or just "Turbo mufflers" I have no idea if that is a company name or just muscle car owners parts slang..

When the street Hemi came out, I always heard them referred to as the Hemi muffler.

Owned Auto Parts Stores for many years. Most of the major manufacturers , AP Ex , Maremount Ex, Walker Ex. simpley called them Hemi mufflers. They were of a specific design however , and they were always more expensive.
