The manual window tracks and gears in the doors of my 1972 Satellite Sebring Plus look like, at one time, were lubricated with some kind of yellowish-brownish grease (that is now hard and dry). What is that stuff? Do I scrape it off?

Might have been white lithium. Yellows with age. Won't fly off. I'd scrape off the old and reapply new with something like a flux brush.
