What would your last meal be?

Mmm let's see, lobster tail with garlic, my wife spaghetti with white wine sour cream and shrimp , roast beef , a rack of lamb, corona beer, tacos de cabeza, for dessert a triple chocolate cake and a big cup of coffee and some licor del 33 (33 liquor )

Either one of my grandmothers dishes, potato pierogis, bigos or stuffed cabbage

Porterhouse steak .. garlic smashed red potatoes .. corn on the cob roasted on a grill.. gardoons.. good chunk of Italian bread.. nice red wine .. and for desert, sfinges ... ... get laid, then kill me.

Excuse my ignorance in the culinary delights of the world but I have to ask....what in the world is a gardoon????

Actually they're called cardoons but in my neighborhood its with a G .. they look like elephant ears ,that's the part you throw away, the stem is what you eat. You pick them usually the last week of May, clean like celery and boil for a few minutes , dry, bread them and fry . They are fantastic. Everybody I know has a spot in some field they know about, that's where they go . But they won't tell you where. I was picking mine in a lot near a school, been there for quite a few years, this year someone called the cops. Had to see me explain to this young cop what I was doing, thank God his backup was Italian and knew what I was up to.

Looks like what we refer to as burdock. Also looks similar to rhubarb.

My last meal? A handful of the antidote to kill whatever is trying to kill me !

Mine is crazy. I would want a sandwich. Really soft white bread with a thick slice of bologna, Miracle Whip and Veleeta cheese. With a bowl of Campbells tomato soup, milk not water and some Saltine crackers. It reminds me of my youth.
Doesn't make much difference, you will puke it all up when they put the hood over your head !!....................MO
