Y'all look more like broccoli
I think you meant cauliflower?!!
Y'all look more like broccoli
I love this....because I can relate.Mr. Fixit! just yesterday she called me up to the master, not for that! she bought a 10' awning for the balcony which was laying on the floor in pieces and said "you can make this fit". I said "why didn't you buy an 8' ". her reply "because I want this colour fabric and I know you can do it! I said "you havn't sat down on that balcony in 35yrs" and waited her response "because it doesn't have an awning" FFS I lose again!
I think it's become a personal challenge for her now to find something impossible!
Modified a bit to suit:I just asked my wife. She mentioned, "Hero", and followed that with "Warrior". I don't agree but that's what she thinks. I was just doing my job. She snorted with mild disgust and disappeared into the bedroom for a few minutes and came out holding my dress blues jacket with all of my decorations on it. She held it up and said, "Proof, I rest my case". Can't argue with that.

Damn, brother....tore me up with this one.(RIP Lisa) I don't know
20 or so years ago now, the night before she passed
she had said;
that *"I was a good man" & then something about
*'her horses need to be brushed & blanketed'
before she fell asleep....
*That was one if not the last thing I heard (remember) her say...
She was a 1 of a million lady, good, caring & loving
very strong-willed, stubborn & very outspoken, she loved family & the animals...
(& her latest 89 Toyota Turbo Supra or her Horse trailer)
Attributes much like me, probably why we got along so well,
but I'm far more brutally honest when it's called for (opinionated/unfiltered),
then she was, she was more diplomatic...
I'd hope she'd say, if asked about me...
I was a great father, a good provider, honest, fun & sometimes funny
we joked/laughed a lot & we had 'great trust in each other',
I believe we did...
It will help to take/aide you threw all the hard times
'trust is love'
Dang RC; ya don’t look anything like the photo you have as your header. After all this time I thought you looked like Marty Cranium…I mean Feldman. Sweet photo, suitable for framing.
This guy I know cited THIS as a reason to leave his 3rd wife. He got tired of being a piss boy...she always had some project in mind to eat up his free time. Garden, drapes, floor coverings, tile work, etc. The poor guy would come home with plans to wrench on cars and there she would stand...with some bullshit project that SHE could never do herself.Mr. Fixit! just yesterday she called me up to the master ....she bought a 10' awning for the balcony
That's one of many attributes you have, now take that as a compliment!!For the last 16 years he's said "You're much too honest to be a business owner."
I take it as a compliment.
