1968 Coronet 500. What is missing from the firewall right above the brake booster?

Probably was an add-on aftermarket tachometer on a bracket :)
 
...obviously a small rectangular "whatsit" held on by two screws.
- got lots of those in the misc scrap and unidentifiables bin...
