whats the casting number for caliper brackets ?

Always shopping the deals.
I'd buy a set for $75, just to put on the shelf.
But when has the last set been put on ebay or the forum?

I’d take a set for 75 as well.
No way you are getting a set for $75 unless its a buddy or someone that doesnt know what they have. Took me nearly a year to get 2 sets and I have like $600 in the 2 sets and thats ONLY because, I lucked out and bought 1 (not 1 set but 1) in a pile of 3 spindles for $40 at the Nationals this year. A pair are going for $500. They are EXTREMELY hard to find now. 76-78 B bodies have them but I have spoken to a few of the well known Mopar junkyards and they told me they have bought whole 76-78 B bodies JUST for those brackets. Rotors are common as dirt at Rock Auto or Dr Diff.

This is why I asked what they are going for.
I was buying whole cars to get the brackets 15 years ago, and some had slider.
They are the simplest way to get big brakes on a mopar. I have put C body rotors on my spindles, for even more heat capacity.
A 4000lb car at 100+ in the mountians needs more brakes.
But on here, $500 a set would get me lynched.

Holy sheet. You have em all. Supply and demand. I paid $300 set from a FRIEND and was happy to do so. Paid $275 for ONE. And $40 for another. The guy begged me to take 3 nasty spindles he had.

One part of old chryslers that should cost next to nothing. Guess they crushed em before they caught on. Doh!

Yep, I think you see why I’m on the train for a set at 75 bucks like the other guy said. Lol.

Dr Diff repops the sliders. They still cost $$$. The pin style that start with 09 are really rare now.

I’m curious as to why he chose to do the sliders and not the pin type? The pin ones are a better setup for when things get hot and expand.

What brackets are needed to use C body rotors ?? I have a set of 75/77 Newport rotors.

Just run the standard big "Cordoba" rotor, unless you are going down the rabbit hole.
My understanding is that the 73up C rotor, outer bearing, inner shaft diameter is larger than the stub of a B body spindle.
I have heard there is an adapter bearing, or a sleeve for the outer bearing.
The inner bearing race on the C rotor, should be the same as the 73up B spindle.
I put 69-72 C body rotors on my 71 spindles. Bearings are the same. Rotor has .250" more backspace on the wheel mounting face. I run 15x8 in front.
I had to clearance the caliper bridge just a touch for the wider rotor.
C body calipers too.
Actually, I used the B caliper, and 1/2 used pads. Just don't want to steer anyone wrong.
