Whats this hole for?

Jeez...I hope we get the correct answer before Richard Cranium stumbles upon this thread.

Maybe they ran out of firewall holes on the assembly line but just kept going?

Or ran short of plugs and were left with a bin full of holes.:)

Boy there are a bunch of smartasses on here! I love it!

Courtney Love, where are you?
Excellent reference to her groups name!!!!!

Hole was an American alternative rock band that formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989 by singer and guitarist Courtney Love and lead guitarist Eric Erlandson. The band had a revolving line-up of bassists and drummers, their most prolific being drummer Patty Schemel, and bassists Kristen Pfaff (d. 1994) and Melissa Auf der Maur. Hole went on to become one of the most commercially successful female-fronted rock bands of all time, selling over three million records in the United States alone.[1]

To be spoken as Hank Kimball on Green Acres:

That hole?
It's for piping in heater hoses for pizza warmers in delivery cars, a whole fleet of really fast pizza delivery cars.

Umm, that's a weird hole ya got there.
Any idea what it was for?
