Hey what do you guys think of a 1/2 in wheel spacer, I got some new rims and they wont fit, they will fit with a 1/2 in spacer i think, they are for a set of slicks. let me know, thanks

You'll probably get differing opinions on this but for me as long as you don't race with them and they get mounted correctly they are not a problem. If you have the universal type with the slotted holes you really need to use lug nuts with the extensions that will go through the wheel and spacer to center them properly. The type that have holes that self allign and center are the better ones.

Yes they are going to be used for racing they are direct bolt rims. any other thoughts? thanks

Snowman, I'm gonna have to go with Stumper on this one.

If the spacers are a tight fit on the bolt pattern with the hole ever so slightly larger & you have hardened over size studs long enough so you will get the proper amount of threads sticking thru & they are of billet or solid stock, steel or aluminum 6061 or harder & not casted pot-metal alloy they will be OK, otherwise get the proper wheel backspacing... I AGREE, AND I USE THEM ON MY 65 BLUE DODGE, I NEEDED A spacer and just put on mr. gasket cheapo ones. been running them for 5 years now going high 8's and 9.0's with no issues. im at 150 mph too.
go ahead and use them. my 65 hemi belvedere have them also going 9.70's.

SUPERSTOCKRACER, what type and thickness are you running on your track cars?

What size diameter studs do you guys recommend. I just have the 1/2 in ones on the car will they hold? Thanks
