Few years ago had hunted down wheels and tires to upgrade my car. Most concerned with clearance for the fronts, come to find that after getting the car on a rack going to 15” Magnum’s and P235/60 fit with no issues. Likely more clearance. With the larger wheel and lower profile tire, the overall diameter barely changed.

Sure like the aluminum mag’s wondering if going to a 16-17” wheel with another 60 series tire would fit. I’d like redlines to drop the RWL’s after having those for 50+years on all my rides as a change-up. Here’s a pic of my car to give a viz why I’m thinking redlines could look nice on it.
Anyone have a ’63-65B having the wheel/tire sizing that I’m referring to, who could let me know? Thanks

My old 64 from years back with 16's.If I remember it had 235/70 /16 rear and 215/70/16 front.
Really can't tell looking at it 16's from 15's.
On my 63 that I have now I went with a 60's vibe and only run 75 series 15's 215 front 235 rear.

I saw a 66 or 67 GTX at a car show a week ago, with the same style wheel that you have.... but 17s or 18s.... with redlines.
I'd like to give you more info, but the sidewalls had 99% of the info buffed off, so I don't know what size they were, and I'm sorry, no pics, it was my gsd's first car show, and was more concerned with him
If I had to guess.... Diamondback custom redlines, 18x7s, and 235or 255/50x18s.
They looked GREAT!

15x6 torque thrust up front with 215/75 tires, 15x8 torque thrust with 275/60's in back.
