My recently installed US Wheels.
So many of these cars were just that, cars. If it was a daily driver back in those days, it had snow tires on it if you had to get to work. I used to ride with a friend in his 1968 427 Camaro that had snow tires on it all the time.I was shocked myself reading that guys story. I know they were “just cars” then, but even then I would think it would be rare for a corvette to be a daily into the winter driver
Believe it or don't, there were studded [whitewall] snow tyres on my 70 Road Runner when I purchased it.I did the same on my `70 Road Runner it got around very well. Sears sold them for cheap, I believe they were recaps. All I could afford. Nice Charger.
And some cool sparks hahaBelieve it or don't, there were studded [whitewall] snow tyres on my 70 Road Runner when I purchased it.
Those tyres sure made a funny sound doing a burnout...![]()

Still have a set of those tires, N50-15.
They look good on it !My newest ride has the polished Torque Thrust II's. Not sure if they will stay on or not?

Those indeed look good, at least at that diameter...are those 15's? The Torq-Thrusts for lower-profile tires, like 17"-plus, don't look good to me. 15" max.My newest ride has the polished Torque Thrust II's. Not sure if they will stay on or not?
