My friend has chrome 15x7 rallye wheels on his 69 Dart GTS 383 4 speed car. Since Dodge didn't offer a decent wheel for A body cars until 1970,except for the recall wheels in 69,he opted for the chrome version of the rallye wheels as something that could have possibly been offered, like the Magnum 500 wheels that were chromed from 1966 until 1968 then later were painted and used a trim ring like the rallye wheels did.

8 pm on Wednesday night and no one posted on Wheel Wednesday? Well here at do nothing garage, contrary to belief, I try to accomplish one car related thing per day. So today I modified stock Magnum 500 center caps to fit on my Dynacorn 15 inch Magnum wheels. It was easy enough to do. I just ground off about a quarter inch of the 5 spoke locater tabs and the fit perfectly in the wheel. I am trying to get the look of a 14 in 69 and up style Magnum 500 wheel with the factory trim ring but in a 15 inch one piece cast wheel. I think that I pulled it off.

The car I am building is a clone of the 70 Purple Charger R/T SE Daytona sunroof car. I am trying to achieve the look of the factory 14 inch Magnum wheels and Goodyear Polyglass tires, but in 15 inch 60 series tires, instead of the 14 inch 70 series tires that were on the original car.

I have the same Dynacorn wheels. There is no chamfer on the lug holes. Make sure the knurls of the wheel studs do not sit proud of the axle flange. Mine did and I had to relieve the back of the wheel.
