Last U pull I bought bolts from charged me $5 for a bucket full.

That was about 3 years ago.

I actually had a hard time filling up the bucket.

I hear ya! Its often amazes me what some guys will go through to save a buck ... "Yup, lost three toes and two fingers to frostbite ... but I got a whole bucket of rusted bolts for 5 dollars" !!
