It's called a "weld nut", that style isn't easy to find, if you want correct you should probably plan to grab a used one off a fender... If you just want functional....

I created one with a washer, a few different sized sockets and a 5 ton press. Pressed the bulge into the washer Welded a nut underneath and made the exterior cuts with a dremel.

That look more like a "Hollow wall anchor" for use on Drywall lining for attaching items like heavy framed pictures etc.

For best function, I would just use a RivNut or sometimes called a Nutzert.
I use them everywhere, very handy to have in the shop and it (sort of) looks like the factory put it there.
You can find them or similar at places like Lowes, Harbor Freight, etc.
