Some people don't have the time once they are diagnosed with a terminal condition, others just wake up dead, while others don't even get the chance to go to bed that night!! While others may just want to keep their private life private!

I don't know of anyone that has ever "Woke up dead". If you are dead, you don't wake up.
I get your point though.
I see members posting about sick family members but I could not bring myself to do that. I lost 2 brothers and my mom in 4 years and I just couldn't write about it.

There is no right or wrong, its personal and if you want to share stories, get advise, its up to you.
Hearing other experiences is helpful, usually done through a PM
You and your family went through a lot and I feel awful about what you all suffered and the loss of your loved ones.
In spite of your distain for me, it doesn't come into play as far as this conversation
I posted about my wife very early on, seeing that its going on over nine years. I don't post about her much anymore because of a lot of reasons I wont go into.
What I will tell you is the support, stories and prayers I received, and the people I still discuss issues to this day in private, that outpouring of support, has humbled me

Hey guys,
Good news, @PlagueOfBadgers (Chris) is back, and he and his family are taking time to adjust to their new home etc. He will pop in soon and catch up with you all.
Also, he really wanted to thank you all for yet again being thoughtful and thinking about absent members...it means a lot.
