Where to check transmission fluid

Stupid question but where do I check the transmission fluid? 4 speed

There is a fill plug on the side of the tranny. Also the drain plug is on the bottom of the Tranny. Kim

There's no dip stick......it's all underneath like the previous couple of posts. Fill the trans like you do the rear end.....when the oil starts to spill out of the fill plug, it's full. Just let it spill out until it quits or about to.....

As stated above. Make sure you use the correct lubricant. Some are not friendly with the synchronizers.
