Need to redo the door panels on my '72 SSP project car. Can't find a local source for this. Where does one find it anyway? It is smooth on one side, and has a rough pattern on the opposite side. Don't know if the finish makes any difference.

Do you have any Upholstery shops around your area? Maybe they can help out where to get the boards from.

I think my upholstery man went by his supplier already, but I guess I should check myself to be sure.

...or do you have a large hardware store - there may be a board similar to that one available for retail purchase.

We have Home Depot here and an Ace Hardware, but there inventory is a little different than in the U.S.

Just check the Lumberyard at a couple of places, you should be able to find something that will work.

Sounds like a roadtrip to SoCal

You might ask the folks at Legendary auto interiors, they use that stuff to rebuild door panels and they did mine and they were excellent, maybe they can send you what you need for your car.

I think that's Masonite, but only finished on one side. It's about 1/8" (.125") thick. A well stocked lumber yard should have it.
