Listening to your suggestions I should get the Pertronics distributor but which one? I have a stock 1969 383. Used to be a 2bbl now a 4bbl. I like the idea of a drop-in one-wire installation. The more I looked the more confused I was. I believe you mentioned the Flamethrower and maybe the Flamethrower III but I was finding different model numbers for what looked like the same thing. Prices varied also.

So now I need a bit more detail.

I put the Flamethrower III in my 69 Roadrunner 383. Works great.

Depends on what you do with the car. Mine is a street car and I use the Pertronix I kit.
Used them in several cars. Some are 20 years in service. The" I" is all I ever needed. The II and III require a ballast by pass. All work very well.

I like the I kits. Whatever you do buy make sure the curve is compatible with your set up.
