I always buy outside my area in rural area. If I get the car to DC, than by the time I sell I can make a nice profit based on the fact that there is absolutely NO SUPPLY and a huge demand for good projects

Also here's a pro-tip, if you go to look at a 2nd gen charger, don't mention you're going to make a general lee clone... I've known some 2nd gen owners (at least 2) that had their cars up for sale and flat refused to sell to someone if they knew their car was going to be turned into a general lee.. while it's true that once it's sold they couldn't do or say anything about their car's fate, they just didn't want their car to become just another tv car clone
