I need to order 3 or 4 thousand $ worth of parts for my 68 rr. I need horn, air cleaner, full interior etc. Im in ga so year one is close. Any suggestions who would be the cheapest with good support?

IDK but I'd make sure you order that stuff around a holiday when you can get a 20-30% off sale or negotiate something due to $$ value of order and tell them to ship all at once.

Shop around some. I have used several different places. Some have the same items as the others at lower prices. I have used BE & A, Year One, Classic Industries, Dantes, Mancini Racing, Summit plus a 5 or 6 places on Ebay that sell restoration parts. Plus check quality also. Cheapest isn't always the best, but on some things they are just as good.

I agree, try to negotiate something. I have had excellent dealings with Stephen's Performance in Ala. Tony's Parts in Del. Year One does'nt seem to ever have what I neeed in stock but in this economy lack of stock is understandable. Had a bad beal on exhaust with them but they took is back w/o argument. Good luck!!

Classic Ind. has a 20% off sale going on right now till the 17th. I had good luck with them. Dante's is a another good one to deal with. I all so got a lot of stuff BE@A so just check around and see. Good Luck Ronnie

2X I'll bet I used 20 different vendors for my '64 resto. Even if I could have gotten several of the parts at the same place , I didn't because of price. You also have to consider shipping and handling charges. Best thing to do , as mentioned is; plan ahead, shop around, check inventories and bundle as best you can each order. Good Luck with your project.

being near yearone and being able to pick parts up in person will save you a bunch of money because they rape everyone on shipping!! but like others have said I used a lot of vendors for my resto. but you have to consider shipping cost in with parts cost since you are in GA

my top 2 are Mancini Racing, {great knowledgeable helpful Mopar people to deal with} & Summit Racing {probably the best customer support & quickest shipping in the country} then probably Magnum Force Racing, Dr. Diff is a good suppliers also, for select parts... I don't usually buy from E-Scam any more, unless I absolutely have too, gotten ripped off too many times, IMHFO there's way too many crooks now, selling Mostly Old Parts And Rust

I've gotten quite a few things from Year One up-to about 2007, but now their shipping costs are ridiculous & really slow to arrive, but have had good luck with the parts quality, but haven't purchased anything in a while now either, also almost everything I want, is discount exempt too, so the occasional discounts offered, don't really do me any good.... Their customer service isn't what it used to be either...

Thanks for the input guys, im not trying to start a bashing thread, but what should I look for problem wise with year one? Quality, availability, or customer support?

^ +1, those are exactly the places where I've gotten parts for mine, plus a few more: JEGS, Jim's, Herb's.

Here is where I buy from - Don't forget to look to the right at all the site sponsors I use most all of them as well. Just bought parts from Detroit Muscle yesterday. Also get stuff on ebay, usually from these sponsors lol

I would add Mega Parts to all the recommendations so far. They have a lot of stuff, fast and very reasonable shipping.

For just Mopar parts its hard to beat Mancini Racing. They know Mopars and have good prices. Ron

Yeah I forgot about Mopartsracing... I use to get a few things from them... B,E&A parts I also have used in the past with decent success...

All great suggestions so far! If you have to do it piecemeal, be sure to check with all the FBBO vendors too. If I can offer you guys a discount, then so can they. :D And they DO.

Yes, Marsh Performance (Mopartsracing) - great to deal with and good prices.
