I have a part on the underside passenger front of my 73 Charger that has rusted through and I am not even sure what it is called. Can anyone help? It is the part that is right above the poly bushing in the picture.

Thanks!

That would be your K member. No worries it only holds the front end and engine in the car. I would work on getting that replaced or fixed. I am going to say that it is probably rusted out where the bushings are as well. The 4 bolts that hold that whole thing on the car have welded nuts on the inside of the frame. They like to seize up over time and if you don't soak them with PB blaster a week before attempting to remove them the welds may break then you will have a new battle

They are totally different k-frames. Starting in 73, the k-frames were isolated by rubber bushings.

That control arm bumper stop looks like it was cut off. Someone trying to build a low rider on the cheap?
