Is the licensed kit wrong?

We had a couple of model makers working for us when I was an industrial designer. The artists (working the drawings on paper) would come up with the new product, but full sized models then had to be made. Zebco was a major client of ours. The drawing would be made. Not blueprint scale drawings but the pretty pictures designer do like with cars. Then the 1:1 models would be made for the upcoming product literature Those guys were awesome. A lot of Bondo was used.
