who said ex-squads are not bringing "good money"

For all the fines I paid they should give one for free.....:fool:

$37K seems like a bargain for what it would cost to restore one to that condition, and get all of the necessary "CHP only" equipment.

Man, the 10.25 425 engines made 360 hp. Wonder what the extras were that made the police package 375?

Somebody way over paid for that car. Could've gotten a real nice Cutlass for that money. Just MO.

I have a soft spot for police cars too.
This is a nice example. I would not pay that much, though.

I always wanted the 67 Belvedere police car on Adam 12 and the 72 D300 on Emergency 51. Two awesome TV shows that I watched as a kid. I had the toys and never missed an episode. To this day I still love old fire and police vehicles. I was friends with the San Jose's battalion chief Don Wisinski. He let my Dad and I ride all over San Jose on the back of the 1914 Knox Martin fire engine. He even made me a member of the muster team and I still have the belt buckle that I got that day. I wear it almost daily. Looking back it was one of the best memories of my childhood. There are only two Knox Martin tractors left in the world and only one is a fire engine. It is now on Display at the San Jose fire museum.

'67 Toronado 425 made 385 hp. which was 10 more than the Starfire with the same sized engine.
I thought I remembered the 360 hp number from my days of liking Oldsmobiles. Any idea what car that was from? Then again maybe my memory is incorrect.

The 360 hp version was in the Olds 88 and 98 and had a 10.25 C.R. The higher rated engines had 10.5 C.R. but also had larger lifters (.921 vs. .842) to allow for increased camshaft ramp speed.
